Hannah Watts, President

Hannah is completing a double degree in secondary English education and public policy leadership with a Spanish minor. She hopes to become an English teacher at a Mississippi high school and work on k-12 education policy. She is a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, a part of the Mississippi Excellence in Teaching Program, a Big Event Project leader, and a member of the Columns Society. She has also been an Ole Miss Ambassador and a student worker at the Mississippi Law Research Institute. Her involvement in ASB started with FYE which quickly led her to spending three years in the ASB senate. Hannah is so excited to get to work alongside this group of strong student leaders to advocate for positive change for the student body here at UM.

The President of ASB is the primary representative of the student body. The Executive power of the Associated Student Body is vested in the office of the President, and from such posture, the President maintains a final decision in every ASB initiative. As a representative of students, the President is charged with facilitating a working relationship with various other leaders in the campus, local, and national community.
