Jack Jones, President
Jack, originally from Murray, KY, is completing a degree in Public Policy Leadership with minors in Higher Education and Economics. He joined ASB in September of his freshman year, after winning an open seat in the Campus Senate. Since then, Jack has worked as Sara Austin Welch's Chief of Staff during her time as ASB President, and most recently finished his term as the ASB Vice President. He is passionate about student advocacy and believes that when students have a voice at the table, we're all better off. Jack looks forward to serving the University of Mississippi as President and looks forward to working to execute an aggressive agenda for students.
The President of ASB is the primary representative of the student body. The Executive power of the Associated Student Body is vested in the office of the President, and from such posture, the President maintains a final decision in every ASB initiative. As a representative of students, the President is charged with facilitating a working relationship with various other leaders in the campus, local, and national community.
