ABOUT.

Yasmine is a junior majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on International Studies, Chinese, and Global Security Studies. She also has a minor in Museum Studies. Yasmine first joined ASB through the First Year Experience program and later served as the Senator of Campus Equity/Advocacy on the ICCE Committee. In addition, she is part of the Columns Society, serves as the President of the UM Chapter of the Undergraduate Black Law Student Association, and is a member of the Model United Nations Team. Outside of school, Yasmine hosts a podcast called "Yasmine's Warehouse" and will be premiering a long-term series "The Mound Bayou Memoirs" in the fall. She is grateful for her role in ASB and aims to bring the UM community closer together through honest dialogue, mutual understanding, and the sharing of cultures.
