ABOUT.
Jalon, a sophomore from Durant, MS, is double majoring in Political Science and Multi-Disciplinary studies, with minors in Psychology, Journalism, and African-American Studies. He serves as both chairs in UMNAACP and HocoMEC and is a member of various other organizations. Jalon is dedicated to promoting change at the University through the Associated Student Body, advocating for access, opportunity, and engagement from all sectors on campus. Jalon currently works on legislation and advocacy for students, such as international students, women, and ethnic minorities. He also seeks to advocate for sufficient parking, housing, and infrastructure.
