The purpose of the academics committee is for students to get the most out of their academic lives while attending Ole Miss. The academics committee pertains to all things regarding academics at the University of Mississippi, from supporting asynchronous days to investigating blackboard. Last semester, the committee helped to pass legislation regarding election day. this legislation urged professors to make class asynchronous on election days, SO students could go vote. Right now the committee is working on many projects including navigating the 2-factor authenticator on Blackboard, attendance policies, and department-led class fairs for students.
